PJ Builders founder Pete Olson grew up in the family-owned construction business. After years of learning the trade from his father, Pete went on to study Civil Engineering at SDSU, California. Pete then came to Park City for a 6-month trial and, as we hear so often, never left. He fell in love with the mountains and people of Park City.

Pete established PJ Builders in 1997 and built a team of the areas most reputable trade contractors. Under Pete’s supervision, his team built our reputation for quality, reliability and astute attention to detail, code and your vision. Our portfolio of projects and satisfied clients documents the success that developed the reputation “Famous for Quality”. The entire staff treats clients, trade contractors, suppliers and the community with honesty and respect, and continually strives to raise the standards of the home building industry in Park City. Over 90% of our business comes from the trust of satisfied customers and their referrals.

PJ Builders believes in incorporating renewable and zero-energy design and construction whenever possible and works with local architects who share this same passion. In addition, PJ Builders has gained the reputation as Park City’s Historic Old Town Renovation Specialist, with years of experience renovating complex Old Town properties. PJ Builders works closely with local architects who are knowledgeable of preservation codes and requirements, and Pete’s team understands the delicate nature of working in Old Town’s close quarters to adjacent neighbors.
